A former Pennsylvania high school athletic trainer has been charged with filming male student-athletes in locker rooms and bathrooms, according to state police.
Pennsylvania State Police announced the arrest of Samuel Fischer, 34, who is facing child pornography charges after they say he filmed at Pine-Richland and Owen J. Roberts High School.
Police began investigating Fischer in 2023 while he was a teacher at Roberts High School. A student claimed Fischer was secretly recording members of the wrestling team while they showered. Police went on to say they found “numerous photos and videos, some containing nudity” from his personal devices dating back to 2015.

TribLive.com reported that “scenes from locker rooms at Pine-Richland High School depicting students ‘in various states of undress’ and a file containing nudity from a bathroom at Pine-Richland Middle School,” were discovered.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Fischer, who now lives in Erie, told state police that he likes pornography of “hidden locker room camera-type stuff.” His attorney, Steven M. Pacillio, told the Inquirer that Fischer denies having inappropriate contact with students and has cooperated with investigators.
The Inquirer reported that Owen J. Roberts School District said that Fischer was not an employee of the district and that he worked for a company that it hired. The district said that he had been at work at the school for less than a week, per the Inquirer. Pine-Richland said that Fischer worked for it as an athletic trainer from 2014-2019 through a third-party contractor.
TribLive.com said that Fischer’s preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 23 in Chester County. He was reportedly released on $100,000 bail.
