IMG Academy, a prep school and sports training facility in Bradenton, Florida, has partnered with foot scanning technology, orthotics and foot health company Aetrex to bring its technology on-site at IMG and provide insoles to student-athletes.
Through the collaboration, Aetrex becomes the official foot scanning technology and athletic insole partner of IMG Academy and, as part of the parternship, IMG will install five Aetrex Albert Pro 3D foot scanners across campus and provide complimentary Aetrex athletic insoles to every student-athlete arriving this fall.
Using 3D foot scanning technology, the Aetrex Albert Pro scanners capture measurements of each student-athlete’s foot, including arch type, pressure distribution underfoot, 16 3D foot measurements and movement and gait patterns.

The company says these insights help identify individualized support solutions designed to enhance comfort, alignment and movement efficiency to create a stronger foundation for athletic performance.

Through our partnership with Aetrex, we’re able to provide personalized foot assessments and support solutions that help student-athletes move more efficiently, train more comfortably and build a stronger foundation for long-term success.
“This initiative is another example of our holistic approach to development, where every aspect of a student-athlete’s performance and well-being is intentionally supported.”
IMG also said the partnership with Aetrex complements its long-standing relationship with Under Armour, the school’s official performance apparel and footwear partner. Aetrex’s foot scanning technology and Under Armour’s footwear solutions create a more personalized experience by integrating the Aetrex FitAI footwear recommendation platform so athletes can receive recommendations tailored to their foot profile and performance demands.
