Richmar has announced the further expansion of its involvement in the therapy and rehabilitation network through a new partnership with CIAO Seminars, a leading provider of continuing education for rehabilitation professionals.
Through this new partnership, the Middleburg Heights, OH-based company will support CIAO Seminars in its efforts to improve continuing education for physical therapists, occupational therapists, lymphedema therapists, chiropractors, and athletic trainers by introducing new and improved physical agent modality equipment. The enhanced line of equipment will include TheraTouch™ Electrotherapy, Ultrasound, Therapeutic Laser, and the latest innovative modality, the Theradot™ Deep Oscillation Therapy device.

CIAO Seminars’ Role in the Partnership
Through this partnership, CIAO Seminars will expand access to specialized training in Physical Agent Modalities (PAMs) for physical therapists and occupational therapists. More than 20 state licensure boards require a specific combination of training for Occupational Therapists, which CIAO has customized per state. CIAO has created a wide variety of training on electrical stimulation, ultrasound, short wave diathermy, low-level laser, biofeedback, and more. In 2025, CIAO will introduce education on deep oscillation therapy, highlighting its benefits for pain management, muscle rehabilitation, and lymphedema care.
These programs will be available through in-person events, on demand, as well as interactive live-stream virtual modules from the CIAO Studios in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Multiple delivery options will enable clinicians to advance their skills from their clinics, offices, or even from home.
