Training & Conditioning’s annual strength coach survey looks to gain insights from strength and conditioning coaches across the country.

Training & Conditioning invites strength and conditioning coaches across the country to participate in its annual strength coach survey, an industry initiative designed to capture real-world insights into the evolving landscape of strength and conditioning coaching practices.

The survey looks to gain insights from today’s strength and conditioning coaches, including information on the average number of athletes per coach, staffing and budget concerns, equipment advancements, trends and other issues facing the industry.

By gathering feedback directly from professionals in the field, the report provides a comprehensive look at the state of the strength and conditioning coaching landscape in the United States.

Results from the survey will be published in the October/November 2026 issue of Training & Conditioning, offering data-driven insights that help strength and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers, other coaches and administrators understand how their peers navigate today’s challenges.

The report also serves as a valuable resource for identifying emerging opportunities and best practices for strength and conditioning professionals.

“Our annual strength coach survey provides a comprehensive look at what strength and conditioning professionals experience day-to-day within their programs,” the Training & Conditioning editorial team said. “It’s an opportunity to share your voice and contribute to a broader understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the industry.”

Strength and conditioning coaches at all levels are encouraged to take part and ensure their experiences are represented in one of the most widely read reports in the strength and conditioning industry.
