USA Gymnastics to Provide Members Cutting-Edge Concussion Education Resources

USA Gymnastics has announced a new partnership with nonprofit education innovator TeachAids to provide members access to CrashCourse materials as part of the organization’s commitment to athlete health and wellness.

CrashCourse content, which was created in collaboration with more than 100 medical and sport industry experts, is designed to improve understanding and awareness of concussions among young athletes. The curriculum utilizes state-of-the-art technology and interactive features to appeal to and engage young people as they learn how to identify and respond to concussion injuries. The curriculum is unique not only in its visual technology but also in that it speaks from the athlete’s perspective on the importance of reporting a concussion to a coach, athletic trainer, or parent.
