A nonprofit group created by a California high school athlete who suffered a broken neck and his mother is aiming to get an athletic trainer at every high school in the state. The athlete and his mom credit his high school athletic trainer with saving his life.

Full Time ATCs in Connecticut?
Connecticut legislators are studying a potential piece of legislation called the Athletic Trainer’s Practice Act, which would put a full-time athletic trainer at every high school in the state.
