Training & Conditioning’s Continuing Education Program (CEP) can now provide BOC Approved Category A CEUs for its webinar series. Watching each webinar and passing the corresponding quiz will net the viewer 1.0 Category A CEUs.
The CEP webinar series includes monthly webinars available both live and on demand. They will be conducted by leading sports medicine and strength and conditioning professionals focusing on latest research and ways to improve the way you work with athletes.
The first webinar will take place on September 12 and will focus on “Targeting the Brain During Rehab,” presented by Dr. Dustin Grooms, Assistant Professor in the Division of Athletic Training at Ohio University.
■ Why clinicians and strength or performance coaches alike should care about the brain in their practice
■ How the brain changes after musculoskeletal injury
■ How researchers measure these brain change or neuroplasticity (nervous system change)
■ What baseline neural factors may predict injury risk
