Ashley Aken is 17-year-old high school senior who dreams of one day becoming an athletic trainer. Through the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Aken, who has Cystic Fibrosis, got a chance to fulfill that dream by spending a day working alongside the athletic training staff of her favorite football team, the Carolina Panthers. An athletic training student at her Florida high school, Aken’s experience only reinforced her dream of becoming an athletic trainer.
