Florida State University’s Caitlin Quinn, CSCS, has been named the 2013 NSCA Assistant Strength Coach of the Year. Quinn, who works primarily with the school’s softball team and assists with the volleyball, soccer and swimming and diving strength training programs, will be honored at the NSCA Coaches Conference on Jan. 10.
Originally from Pittsfield, MA, Quinn joined Florida State Strength and Speed in August 2007 as a Graduate Assistant Coach. She has a B.S. in Applied Exercise Science from Springfield College and completed strength and conditioning internships at Velocity Sports Performance and the University of Kansas, where she worked with the men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams.
