CSCCa Announcements

In the Board’s efforts to pursue the brightest future possible for the CSCCa, we are excited to announce some new leadership decisions. The board has elected Pat Ivey, Associate AD/Student-Athlete Health & Performance at University of Louisville to be the new President, Corliss Fingers, Director of Strength and Conditioning for Bethune-Cookman University as the new Vice President.  Rob Glass, Assistant AD for Athlete Performance at Oklahoma State, and Josh Stoner, Director of Sports Performance at Stephen F Austin, will continue to fill their role on the board as Treasurer and Secretary.

The board has also decided that Don Decker will be the new CEO. Don has been a part of the CSCCa since its inception. He has served as a board member for nine years, served as the President of the Board for the last two years, he co-chaired the committee that developed the 50/30/20/10 health and safety protocol that was published in June 2019 and he is a 32-year veteran collegiate strength and conditioning coach.

It is important for the membership to know how much we value the responsibility given to us and how grateful we are for the opportunity to serve. We look forward to seeing everyone at the conference.
