Aug 17, 2015NFL Player Donates Money for Electrocardiogram Testing
Trent Williams, currently a member of the Washington Redskins, donated $25,000 to his high school alma mater to help cover the cost of football players’ electrocardiogram testing.
As reported by the Tyler Morning Telegraph, Williams’ mother Veronica presented Longview High School with a check on his behalf, which will help cover the costs of the $15 tests.
“This is home,” Veronica Williams said. “Trent loves giving back to the community here. He’s a Lobo. He’s going to die a Lobo. When it’s involving children, that’s his first love.”
