Jan 29, 2015NATA Prez Makes a ‘Cuse Call
Recently, NATA President Jim Thornton, MS, ATC, CES, spent time with athletic trainers from Syracuse University and surrounding schools during a visit to the area. Thornton discussed the state of the NATA, his vision for enhancing the athletic training profession, and took questions from the group on various athletic training issues.
On October 5, Thornton attended a football game that saw Syracuse matched up against the University of Pittsburgh at the Carrier Dome. During the game, he took time out to have a photograph taken with local athletic trainers and physicians. Thanks to Timothy Neal, MS, ATC, Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine at Syracuse University, for the photo submission.
