Marjorie J. Albohm, MS, ATC, who teaches Leadership in Athletic Training. She was the first women’s athletic trainer at Indiana University and one of the first women to be certified by NATA, where she later served as president. Her extensive experience as a pioneer in the athletic training field has uniquely prepared her to develop future leaders.

Richard A. Bahr, BS, NREMT, who developed and instructs the Emergency Athletic Training course. His company delivers emergency medical care to many extreme sport events around the world, like the Red Bull events and the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing Tour.

Greg Heuer, MS, ATC, who created and teaches the International Athletic Training course. Heuer brings his experience traveling with elite athletes as the primary medical support across various countries during a training season. International rules of sport medical care and U.S. Olympic Committee medical care guidelines are interwoven through the delivery of this course, making it especially relevant for anyone who has considered working as an athletic trainer overseas.

Corey A. Oshikoya, MEd, ATC, CSCS, EMT-B, who created and instructs the Cultural Competence course for the program. He brings his elite athlete clinical experience from the NFL Denver Broncos to the classroom to help students understand the multilayered athlete-patient.

Toni M. Torres-McGehee, PhD, ATC, who created and instructs of the Sport and the Female Athlete course. With an established line of research examining injury risk in the female athlete secondary to disordered eating, and being an athlete herself, she is truly an expert.
