King University, an NCAA Division-II member institution and member of the Conference Carolinas, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This position will assist in providing care for King’s 28 varsity intercollegiate sports teams.
The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing assistance to the Head Athletic Trainer in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, referral, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses to over 450 student-athletes.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to: providing daily health care of student-athletes, maintaining appropriate athletic training room operations, recording and maintaining appropriate medical records for treatment given, daily practice/competition coverage and travel responsibilities with assigned sports, assisting with inventory maintenance, and other miscellaneous job-related duties as deemed necessary by the Head Athletic Trainer.
