Most Valuable Athletic Trainer Award Nominations
Training & Conditioning and School Health announce the 9th annual Most Valuable Athletic Trainer Award honoring high school athletic trainers who have become MVPs in their athletic departments by going above and beyond their job duties to deliver the best sports medicine to their athletes.
Criteria
To be considered, an athlete trainer must work with high school athletes (in either a school or clinic setting) and have the following qualities:
- have earned the respect of coaches they work with and student-athletes they care for
- go beyond their job description to support student-athletes
- put in extra effort to make the athletic training program the best it can be
- serve the local or larger community through community service
In the event they are selected as the winner, the nominee must be able attend the 2021 NATA Convention in Orlando if an on-site conference takes place. If so, he/she will receive reimbursement for up to three hotel nights and the convention registration fee, courtesy of School Health.
The winner will be featured in the May/June issue of Training & Conditioning and honored with a plaque and product-related prizes.
