Most Valuable Athletic Trainer Award Nominations
Nominations are now closed. Award winner will be announced by February 1st.
Training & Conditioning and School Health announce the 8th annual Most Valuable Athletic Trainer Award honoring high school athletic trainers who have become MVPs in their athletic departments by going above and beyond their job duties to deliver the best sports medicine to their athletes.
To be considered, an athlete trainer must work with high school athletes (in either a school or clinic setting) and have the following qualities:
- have earned the respect of coaches they work with and student-athletes they care for
- go beyond their job description to support student-athletes
- put in extra effort to make the athletic training program the best it can be
- serve the local or larger community through community service
The nominee must be committed to attending the 2020 NATA Convention in Las Vegas. The winner will receive reimbursement for up to three nights of hotel expenses, as well as convention registration fee, courtesy of School Health. (Recipient must provide receipts and maximum reimbursement may not exceed $750.)
Winner will be featured in the May/June issue of Training & Conditioning and honored at the NATA Convention. He or she will also receive a plaque and product-relates prizes.
