See You in St. Louis

January 29, 2015
You may want to start planning for next year's convention while it's still fresh in your mind. The 2015 convention will be held in St. Louis, Mo., June 23 through 26.

With activity options ranging from laser tag to historic tours, St. Louis has something for everyone. This is your chance to ride to the top of the world-famous Gateway Arch and see the city from above. Or if you're interested in the nightlife and local live music scene, Washington Avenue and Laclede's Landing aren't to be missed. And don't forget to take a walk through historic Forest Park, site of the 1904 World's Fair.

The official St. Louis tourism website has plenty of ideas to suit your interests. Find information about food and restaurants, music and nightlife, museums, shopping, family-friendly activities, and tours of the city. Here are some suggested highlights:

• Spend an afternoon at the St. Louis Zoo, a free attraction. Take a guided tour or venture on your own through attractions like Big Cat Country, Penguin & Puffin Coast, or the Interactive Stingray Pool.

• Take a tour at the Anheuser-Busch Consumer Hospitality Center and see the historic brew house, beechwood lagering cellar, and the Budweiser Clydesdale stable.

• Or if you'd like to get some exercise while touring the city, you can try City Cycling Tours, which provides bicycles and helmets to accompany guided, narrated tours.

• St. Louis has a thriving sports scene, with the Cardinals in MLB, Rams in the NFL, and Blues in the NHL. Take a tour of Rams's Edward Jones Dome or the Blues's Scottrade Center. And the Cardinals will be in-season, so don't miss the chance to catch a game in majestic Busch Stadium.
